Patient Financial Services Representative
**

Job Description**

As a Patient Financial Service Representative you will be responsible for both billing and collections functions. You will be responsible for completing tasks such as billing and/or accounts receivable follow-up with payers and maintaining quality and productivity requirements as outlined in the position performance expectations. You will process and submit accurate and timely claims to payers, analyze and research unpaid claims, and assist in the resolution of denials, partial payments, and payment variances. You will ensure the timely and accurate resolution of outstanding invoices either through cash collections or adjustments.


**Required Qualifications**

6 months of customer service experience


**Preferred Qualifications**

- Billing and collections experience in a healthcare environment

- Experience working with insurance companies

- Excellent written and verbal communication

- Prior experience in a call center environment


**Education**

Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
