Make yourself at home with us and start doing your life's best work.(sm) Primary Responsibilities: Develop project schedules, update master project schedules, facilitate schedule discussions with release management and other project managers Perform analysis of schedule variances and generate other reports and data requests from team members, managers and client PMO Facilitating working sessions to perform Root Cause, Variance Analysis and Corrective Action Planning and work-arounds Develop summary analysis for schedule related assessment for Senior Leadership Investigate non - standard requests and problems, makes presentations to senior leadership, ensure project documentation is accurate and ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
Pertinent data and facts will be captured for executive review to identify and solve issues and mitigate risks Prioritize your work load and work on ad hoc projects as assigned Serve as an Optum PMO primary point of contact for matters relating to the project schedule and serve as a liaison and support PM Required Qualifications: BA / BS degree and / or equivalent education and experience 3+ years of project management experience 3+ years of experience in performing project schedule status updates, tracking, planning and working with large data sets and making data - driven analytical decisions Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities PMP Certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire Proficient in MS Project (advanced user), Word, Excel, PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications: MS Project Certification Healthcare experience Project management experience implementing large technical solutions Experience in a large matrix environment Careers with Optum.
